A Mind-Body Approach to Burnout and Stress Management
This workshop offers a practical, somatic approach to understanding and managing stress. Participants will explore how stress manifests physically in the body and learn effective techniques to regulate their response. Through guided practices, we’ll examine the distinction between healthy and unhealthy stress and uncover each participant’s unique, conditioned stress response.

How long will this take?
Typically, you start noticing shifts after the first few sessions. However, if you really want to unravel decades of being a certain way, it takes time. I suggest a block of ten sessions, it’s usually near the halfway mark that you start to have big realisations and start to see the impact of our work together. Then we work on how we can start to make lasting change. I’m not selling a disingenuous offer here, that’s not how I operate.
What is somatic coaching, and how does it apply to me?
Somatic coaching can help you make sense of what’s going on for you now. You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or resentful, somatic coaching offers a safe space to explore these emotions. The focus is on the connection between the body and mind, which is crucial for those of us who are facing high levels of stress, which is most of us. Having lots of responsibilities can create physical and emotional tension, which often shows up as anxiety, burnout, or difficulty focusing.
Somatic coaching helps you tune into your body’s signals, providing insights into how stress and emotions affects how you are living your life. By becoming more aware of these physical sensations, you can learn to work with them. This body-centred approach helps you to be with those stronger emotions and discover what it is you really long for.
What is functional breath coaching?
Functional breath coaching teaches you how to use your breath to support both emotional and physical health. Poor breathing patterns can lead to heightened stress, anxiety, and even physical symptoms like fatigue.
Breathwork is a scientifically proven method to help you regulate your nervous system, improve sleep quality, and increase your energy levels. During our coaching sessions, I’ll introduce you to simple yet powerful breathing techniques that you can incorporate into your daily routine for better stress management and overall well-being.
Can somatic coaching help with physical symptoms related to stress and anxiety?
Yes it absolutely can. Somatic coaching, is highly effective in addressing the physical symptoms of stress and anxiety, such as tension, shallow breathing, and fatigue.
By tuning into your body’s signals and learning techniques to calm your nervous system, you can reduce the physical impact of stress and feel more in control of your emotional and physical health.
Will I receive a personalized plan?
Absolutely. Each client’s journey is unique, and my somatic coaching approach is designed to reflect that. After our initial discovery session, we will agree the journey we will take together based on your specific goals, challenges, and needs. This will evolve throughout our work together, ensuring that it continues to meet your needs as you grow and gain clarity.

Can I do somatic coaching online or in person?
Yes, I offer both online and in-person coaching to suit your preferences. I am sure you are wondering if somatic coaching would be as effective online as in person. Basically all the somatic practices that we engage in throughout our sessions are tranferable because we can use physical touch or energetical touch. All pratices have adaptations that are just as effective online. Online coaching provides flexibility and the comfort of participating from your own space, while in-person sessions allow for face-to-face connection if you’re local to Dublin. Both formats are equally effective, and we can decide which option works best for you based on your lifestyle and needs.
